Ann Blockley is the daughter of the renowned Welsh artist, Gwilym John Blockley, but is a distinguished watercolourist in her own right, a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and the Society of Women Artists and the author of many books on painting in watercolour. The artist was born in the 1950s and is still painting at her south Devon studio. Well known for her beautiful watercolours of flowers and animals, her more recent work tends to be of impressionist landscapes, which she has exhibited at Mall Galleries in London.
