David Brammeld is a Staffordshire-based international artist whose interests lie in the ever-changing urban built environment and natural landscape.
An award-winning artist of many years experience, David works in various media: graphite, pastel, acrylic, oil and mixed media. He is also an experienced art tutor and workshop leader. "I am intrigued by the urban built environment - the hidden histories of derelict buildings, disused factories, shops and houses - they all have a story to tell. I am fascinated by the shapes and character of natural forms - trees especially in autumn and winter when the absence of leaves reveals their strength and beauty."
David exhibits nationally and internationally and his work is shown regularly in group exhibitions in London's Mall Galleries - in annual shows with the Pastel Society (UK), and the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA), and in Newcastle, Staffordshire with Trent Art.
He exhibits annually in France with both the Société des Pastellistes de France (SPDF) and other leading French pastel society group shows.
