Frederick E.Valter (1878-1900) was from Birmingham and was a painter of animals and landscapes. Most of the animals he painted was mainly cows and sheep. He exhibited two works at SS including ‘Turning the Plough’. He mainly exhibeted at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists where he showed 61 works.
