George Shalders (NWS 1826-1873) was a landscape painter and watercolourist who lived in Portsmouth and London. Exhibited at R.A. 1848-1862, BI, SS and NWS. Subjects mainly summery views in Wales, Ireland and Surrey and occasionally the Continent. Works by him are in the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
