James Pollard (1792 - 1867) ranks amongst the most respected British sporting and coaching painters of the nineteenth century. Best known for his depictions of hunting scenes, coaching subjects, racehorses and royal sporting events, his work remains highly regarded by collectors of traditional British sporting art.
