TG Green & Co operated from 1864 - 2007 and were best known for their everyday pottery, including a popular Cornishware range. However in the late 19th/early 20th century they developed the Ivanhoe range, possibly in collaboration with Sir Christopher Dresser who was working with other local potteries at the time. Influenced by the arts and crafts movement the designs featured organic floral motifs decorated with slip, and were more artistic and ambitious than their usual offerings. The range is becoming increasingly scarce, with examples held in museum collections.
