Owned by TV's favourite antiques dealer, Tim Hogarth, The Red House is home to 60 plus dealers, in over 100 cabinets, covering 2 floors. We have an impressive array of antique and vintage items to suit all budgets. For collectors we can source that elusive piece from our network of national dealers. Let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll do our best to help.
If you visit us on a Tuesday, you might just be lucky enough to see Tim, who has his own cabinets in the centre and is always happy to have a look at items you are wanting to sell. So don’t waste 20% of the value of your goods on salesroom fees, we offer top prices guaranteed by an industry legend.
We are situated on a major junction, adjacent to the Theatre Royal, across from the York Tourist Information Office and within a stone's throw of the world famous York Minster.
