Description
Pair of antique botanical engravings, The Sowthistle and The Pellitory of the Wall, by William Curtis.
Both engravings are from the Flora Londinensis [plants that grow wild in the environs of london], published in 1777.
An original pair of 18th century copper engravings by William Curtis, both with hand colouring and matching modern frames, one text page relating to the plant in a plastic sleeve to rear board.
