All bound in 19th century half leather bindings with marbled endpapers and page edges. numerous plates in black & white with some hand coloured. Plate count is as follows: volume 1 has a hand coloured frontis plus extra engraved title page, 1 x further coloured plate plus folding chart. Volume 2 has hand coloured frontis + extra engraved title page & 16 x plates numbered 1 - 16 to rear. Volume 3 has a hand coloured frontis with extra engraved title page, 2 x further coloured plates plus 7 x plates to rear numbered 17 - 23. Volume 4 has a black & white frontis, extra engraved title page plus 5 x plates to rear numbered 24-28.
