17th Century Oak Panels

A pair of English oak panels showcasing ornate relief carving, a technique typical of the 17th century. Possibly salvaged from a traditional Buffet or architectural wainscoting. The first panel centres on a classic Tudor rose encased in a heavy geometric lozenge. In contrast, the second panel presents a central floral medallion encircled by an interlocking guilloche scroll. Carved from solid oak, both pieces display the dense grain and historic character typical of early British furniture, making them striking examples of Jacobean decorative art. Both in very good condition with the usual wear and tear, splits, knocks. Please see images for closer details. One has had fixtures and strung to allow hanging.
