18th Century Italian Mirror in Gilded Wood

Superb Italian giltwood mirror from the 18th century. The decoration is embellished with finely chiselled foliage, acanthus and flowers. Superb openwork carving work testifying to the exceptional know-how of the craftsmen of the time. The original gilding, well preserved, gives this piece a brilliant luminosity and an authentic patina which underlines its antique character.
