George Cole was a notable artist for the Royal Worcester porcelain factory in the early 20th century, particularly known for his work around 1903–1906. His speciality was painting detailed, high-quality floral scenes, often featuring flowers like sunflowers or lilies, frequently on a shaded ground. He moved to Royal Worcester from Grainger's in 1902.
