1920s Magnifying Glass & Compass Pocket Watch Chain Antique English Swivel Fob

Gentleman's Antique compass and magnifying glass pocket watch chain silver chrome English swivel fob. Useful little item when you are out and about. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 4.6 cm length retracted / 6.8cm extended (including the end ring), 2.4cm width, 1.3cm depth and weighs a heavy 19 grams. Wonderful oval shaped fob which has a raised compass to top (attractive brass chapter ring) with a silver and blued steel needle pointer (working order), ivory coloured background, black directional markers and original bevel edge crystal. Stamped clearly to the front with the Country of origin; England. The magnifying glass is held in a secure silver chrome wide mount, rotates outwards (correctly from either side), staying snugly in any position as it should. The magnification through the glass lense (measures 2cm diameter) is excellent. Has a tiny 'cloud' inside the glass, just off centre which does not affect visibility in any way (so small is not showing up in the photographs but mentioning for accuracy). Robust and secure big steel end ring. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage, a little bit of wear/patina (mainly to the back) and some overall surface scratches to the compass crystal - all commensurate with age.
