Pocket Watch Chain Compass Fob 1960s Large Brass Drum Case Working & Locking Fob

Gentleman's pocket watch chain Vintage working compass fob in a large and chunky brass drum case. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 6.2cm height (including the top ring), 3.6cm width, 9mm depth and weighs a very respectable 15.9 grams. Chunky big brass drum case holding securely to the front a very attractive ivory coloured paper dial with black directional markers and a large blued and silver steel needle/pointer which moves freely. Stamped to centre in arched script; FOREIGN. Little brass lever to side of the case which correctly locks the pointer into position if required. Original thick bevel edge crystal. Big robust brass top ring to attach to a pocket watch chain. Excellent condition with few little indentations to back cover and just a little bit of overall wear/patina/light surface scratches and internal dust specs to the crystal - all commensurate with age.
