Elder Books & Collectables has clarified that the 1942 1st Edition Enid Blyton Five on A Treasure Island with Original Dust Jacket (LA402879) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1942
condition
Some loss to jacket with several tears & creases to jacket, cloth boards and cloth spine are marked, title text to spine of jacket is faded, hand written name & address to front endpaper plus the name of magnus grammar school written underneath , one black & white illustration has been coloured in by hand possibly with felt pen [see image] occasional minor blemish to the occasional page.
Please note: dust jacket has a clear removable covering that may show some wrinkles or reflections in images.
Overall a good - very good copy & mostly clean internally
