A delightfully pretty 1950s Kigu Bouquet basket shaped powder compact from the 'Old 63-Series'. The compact is in super condition! It features complex engine turned designs which resemble the patterns seen on a wicker basket. Around the lid and base the 'gilt jeweller's finish' is decorated with a delightful scalloped design. The lid has a Lucite dome which protects the most adorable reverse carved palest pink , cream and bronze Lucite floral display. The interior case contains a good mirror which gives an accurate reflection. The powder well bears the Kigu registered triangular trademark and the model name 'Bouquet' and 'REG. DES.' All hinges and clasps work perfectly. Everything is in good order. An immaculate drawstring pouch is included with this item. Measures 5.5 cm and weighs 57.2 grams.
