A beautifully graceful pair of 1960s cultured pearl and diamond earrings, finely crafted in 18ct white gold. Elegant in both form and proportion, each earring is centred with a luminous cultured pearl, embraced by a beautifully curved sweep of sparkling eight-cut diamonds. The flowing design has a distinctly mid-century feel, giving these earrings a stylish sculptural quality whilst remaining wonderfully wearable. The cultured pearls are approximately 8mm in diameter and display a refined soft silver-cream tone with delicate pink undertones and a gentle, even lustre. A total of 22 eight-cut diamonds, each measuring approximately 1.5mm, are set along the sweeping white gold surrounds. Their combined estimated weight is approximately 0.35 carat, adding plenty of sparkle without overpowering the pearls. Crafted in solid 18ct white gold, the earrings are indistinctly stamped and have been tested as gold. They are fitted with posts together with hinged clip fittings, providing additional security and support when worn.
