The chest features a shaped moulded top above three long graduated drawers, each fitted with ornate gilt brass handles and matching escutcheons. The bombe-shaped sides flow elegantly into a carved apron and stout cabriole legs terminating in carved claw feet, giving the piece strong presence and visual depth.
