19th Century Magnum Shaft & Globe Glass Decanter c.1880

A large late 19th Century Magnum Shaft and Globe glass decanter dating to c1880. It has its original cut hollow stopper above a hexagonal pouring rim. A slice cut neck with two lower cut knops. The shoulders are slice cut with a band of large oval cuts and further slice cuts below. Star cut base. Magnum decanters from the 19th century are exceptionally rare. Holds 2.5 x 750ml bottles. We have included a pair of standard sized, Shaft and Globe decanters as a comparison picture for size. Date & Origin England, c1880
