Description
A rare 19th century snuff box. This highly unusual piece is in the form of a carpenters plane and is beautifully handcrafted. To access the snuff the handle of the plane is pulled back and the body then turns to the side revealing the well into which the snuff would sit. Stamped on the side P & A Leonard this lovely little thing has a great patina to it and would be highly sort after by any collector.
