Description
Offered for sale is a lidded dish produced by S. Fielding & Co in the "Sevres" pattern. Fielding's were manufacturers of earthenware and majolica at the Railway Pottery Stoke and was renamed Devon Pottery in 1912. It is richly decorated with a floral theme in hues that are indeed reminiscent of Crown Devon .
The backstamp and registration number indicate the year of manufacture being 1892.
