Description
A mid 19th century English school watercolour painting of a bouquet of flowers, beautifully executed and well presented in an ebonised lacquered frame.
This is a beautiful little painting, the composition reminiscent of the floral paintings by James Holland Ows, who was a painter for Davenport pottery in Longport. The painting is unsigned.
There are a few areas of minor discolouration to the paper, and a few small marks and scuffs to the frame, but overall the condition is excellent.
