Description
This is a set of four antique country house inglenook fire tools. An English, blacksmith forged iron companion set, dating to the high Victorian period, circa 1870.
Striking estate made wrought iron tools, with a distinctive appearance. Presenting a desirable aged patina and in good order. Quality wrought iron, with deep tonality to the graphite finish. Comprising a pair of coal forks, a cleaning shovel and an angled poker. Fascinating serpentine wave to the shaft terminates in a rolled handle.
This is a delightful set of country house fire tools, with a rare and unusual handmade form. Delivered ready for the home.
