A Four Light French Empire Tent Basket Antique Chandelier

A French gilded brass and crystal 4 light tent basket antique chandelier. The top has a plain brass boss which can go straight to the ceiling should one wish, or a chain and ceiling rose can be attached if there is a very high ceiling. A decorative leafy crown from which hang graduated faceted crystal button drops which gather into an ornate central brass band from which the ' bag' hangs which comprises of large crystal buttons, a large coffin drop and graduated button crystals which gather into a traditional glass bottom finial. Having a nice antique patination and good elongated proportions this beautiful, good quality chandelier would look good in any hallway bringing style and elegance. c1920's Restored, wired, PAT tested and ready to hang.
