Description
A superb silver mounted biscuit barrel from the reign of George V. This lovely example has a shaped and cut glass body with geometric diamond cutting, along with port hole cutting and a band of diagonal cutting. The collar, hinged handle and lid - including the knop, are all hallmarked silver. An excellent piece, as decorative as it is practical.
Hallmarks :- Full set to collar and matching part marks to handle, lid and knop.
Maker :- Hukin & Heath Ltd.
Date :- Birmingham 1921.
