Offered for sale is a lovely pair of late 19th Century, Japanese, Imari pattern pierced rimmed, ribbon plates. They have a floral theme decorated in a typical Imari palette of deep orange and cobalt blue with accents of gold on a white ground. The reticulated borders are also decorated in blue and orange patterns, there is also some blue decoration to the rear.
