Pollock S Nisbet (1848 - 1922) was a Scottish artist born in Edinburgh. He was a pupil of Horatio McCulloch and became a landscape, coastal and architectural painter. He travelled widely in Europe and North Africa. He was elected to full membership of the Royal Scottish Society of painters in Watercolours in 1881 and associate membership of the Royal Scottish Academy in 1892.
