Albert Durer Lucas Watercolour - Heath Plants with Butterfly

Albert Durer Lucas (1827-1918) flower painter; son of sculptor Richard Cockle Lucas. Exhibited in London 1859–78 at Bi,Ss and elsewhere. Painted small, detailed studies of flowers and foliage, sometimes with butterflies and other insects.
