Antique 19th Century (1870) Sepia Painting Andermatt Switzerland Chalet in Alpine Village

For sale this week is a handsome watercolour painting titled Andermatt 1870. It came from a large scrap book and is similar to a watercolour I am selling of Lausanne, also dated 1870. It is a sepia wash watercolour of a typical Alpine village with bridge and chalets. The title and date is written in the lower left corner in pencil. The image measures about 23 by 31 centimeters. Total weight is about 16 grams. Condition is good with original colour and strong contrast. Minor smudges and wear in places from handling over time. Please refer to the photographs.
