This antique 19th century Regency style bookcase is a truly fine example of craftsmanship and design. Constructed from rich mahogany, it is very well made and of excellent quality, standing proudly on a plinth base with a solid and timeless presence. The piece boasts a magnificent grain and stunning colour throughout, complemented by elegant Regency-style decoration that enhances its overall character. The top section features a beautifully glazed two-door cabinet, complete with key, housing three fully adjustable shelves—perfect for displaying books, porcelain, or decorative items. Beneath are two drawers for practical storage, followed by a blind two-door cupboard fitted with a singular fixed shelf inside, providing further versatility. Highly desirable and rare to find, this bookcase is both decorative and functional, retaining its original charm and in great condition.
