Antique Austrian Silver Snuff Box - Continental Lidded Pot - 1853

This charming antique snuff box which is made of Austrian silver has beautiful all over engine turned decoration with an unusual pattern and dates from 1853. This handsome box is of superb quality, has rounded edges, is gilded to the inside, has the Austrian hallmark and maker's mark to the inside base and lid and has a nicely fitting hinged lid which makes a satisfying pop when opened.
