Description
This is an antique boot wiper. An English, cast iron entrance shoe pull by Walrond of Exeter, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Fascinating early 20th century pull, ideal for outdoor pursuits. It displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Substantial cast iron presents consistent graphite tones. Pair of articulated brackets extend outwards. Maker's mark to centre reads Walrond Boot Wiper Co, Exeter, England. Also cast with the registered design number.
This is an unusual antique boot wiper, with an appealing period appearance. Ideal for the entrance way. Delivered polished and ready to use.
