Original Antique bracelet or wrist watch love heart shaped burgundy leatherette box by the retailer W M Mallinson. C~1920's. (Vintage jade bracelet is for display purposes only and NOT included). Measures; 9cm / 3 1/2" length, 9.5cm / 3 3/4" width and 2.7cm height. Burgundy leatherette outer with the slightly domed lid carrying a gold embellishment around the outer edge. The inside raised base is lined with matching rich burgundy velvet and the ivory satin to the internal lid is clearly stamped in gold very fancy script; Wm MALLINSON (LATE WALTON) PAWNBROKER & JEWELLER 41 & 43 MIDDLE ST. DRIFFIELD. Very secure brass catch to the front (operates correctly) and the large brass hinge to the opposite side is true and firm with absolutely no play.
