An attractive and unusual antique bronze miniature. Highly detailed with realistic features, designed as an alligator skin 'rug'. It has been cold painted in realistic colours of dark green, gold and white with great attention to the details of the skin. Marked on the underside for Franz Bergman, the B within Urn mark, Austria made, late 1910s / early 1920s. Condition: Very good used condition overall, some paint loss, more to the underside with some golden bronze highlights showing through, age commensurate.
