Antique Carved Oak Hall Tree Stand

An impressive Late Victorian (c. 1890) hall tree/stand crafted from solid oak with a deep, rich finish. This is a highly functional piece of entryway furniture featuring a slim profile that fits well in narrow hallways or foyers. This stand features intricate, swirling "S-scroll" and floral carvings on the central column and box. There is a lift-up lid ideal for holding small accessories such as gloves or keys. This model features turned wooden pegs. See close-up picture for one of the pegs that shows it is slightly cut square at the base of the hook. There is a small mirror in the centre.
