Antique Chinese Watercolour Painting Butterflies and Blossoms

This is a beautiful antique Chinese (Qing) botanical watercolour dating from the mid 19th Century. The well executed painting depicts insects and a butterfly surrounded by native flora. The watercolour is in strong gouache colours on pith and is presented in a neat gilt frame with a soft raspberry mount.
