Description
This original Victorian enamel metal sign train station sign which dates from the 19th century has a cream background with chocolate brown lettering to one side which reads Gentlemen. This great looking antique sign which originated from a North Eastern Railway Station is in great condition with just a little age related wear giving a fabulous look. The sign is also printed with the maker's details of Patent Enamel Co Ltd, B'ham. Can be attached to a wall by the 6 fixing holes or hung from a chain. The stylish font and warm colours make the sign a very nice decorative piece for the home, bar, restaurant, hotel or a nice decorative antique piece for a sign collector or railway collector. Material: Metal. Enamel. Date: 19th century. Original. Maker: Enamel Co Ltd. Birmingham. An original antique railway sign and not a reproduction.
