Antique French Diorama Madonna and Child

A really beautiful, delicate and pretty 19th century glazed diorama cabinet depiction of the blessed Virgin Mary and baby Jesus in excellent original condition dating from around 1900. The setting is beautifully decorated inside with decoupage of angels, cherubs, and many biblical figures as well as floral bouquets. The saintly figures are posed with halos above their head, stood in a pretty double arch of white florets. The pedestal is adorned with flower pots and candles in candlesticks all in delicate paperwork in pretty pastel colours. Even the back of the cabinet is beautifully papered with the original acanthus leaf paper on rouge red with the original linen hanging loop still present.
