This magnificent antique French sideboard, dating from around 1880, is made from solid oak and is profusely hand-carved throughout, it displays the exceptional skill of 19th Century French cabinetmakers. The three lower doors feature deeply sculptured game motifs, including boar's head, pheasant, and harvest-themed imagery-classic symbols of the French hunting tradition. The intricate floral, ribbon, and fruit carvings add to its decorative appeal. Impressive proportions and storage, with a striking arched pediment and finely carved open shelves, this cabinet offers ample display and storage space. The lower section has three drawers and a shelved interior behind the carved doors-ideal for dining ware, silver, or linens.
