Description
This is an antique Georgian corner cabinet. An English, oak wall hanging cupboard, dating to the late 18th Century. Pleasingly crafted Georgian cabinet. Displays a desirable aged patina. Oak displays fine grain interest and wisps of medullary rays. Resplendent in rich caramel hues.
An elegant, carved swan neck pediment graces the top of the cabinet. Fluted, field panel door adds further visual appeal. Dressed with a pierced brass escutcheon and inset working lock, key present.
Small brass pull to open. A suite of three, shaped shelves within. Wonderfully fluted, canted corners. Pair of mounting loops to the rear for wall hanging.
This is a superb antique Georgian corner cabinet, with fine carved detail. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
