Antique Georgian Oak Writing Bureau

In good antique condition throughout with signs of age and use. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and minor knocks to the top, front, sides and interior, as photographed. There are some historic stains and marks within the fitted interior, together with general wear commensurate with age. The oak has developed a pleasing colour and patina over time. The bureau remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. The fitted interior is complete, and the fall front opens and closes as intended. The brass handles and escutcheons are later replacements in keeping with the period. Overall, a good and honest Georgian example with plenty of character.
