Superb Antique German Ebony 8-Day Mantel Clock Gong Striking Bracket Clock by Lenzkirch Very Good Architectural cased clock Sought after ebony & ormolu case Wonderful silver dial Engine turned engraved dial Four turned bun feet feet Beveled pad top with fish scale decoration Ormolu mounts and finial to the top 8-Day gong striking movement Signed movement Lenzkirch Carved detail Roman numerals 15.5cm diameter dial Movement circa 1890 Working order Architectural case design wonderful glazed ebony & ormolu design case supports standing on four turned bud feet all with a good patina. Very good dial silver engine turned decoration and beveled glass bezel. Beveled base and beveled pad top wonderful patina and striking finials, this is a very fine example of this type of clock.
