Description
This is a good 19th century gilt frame with original gilding in an attractive two tone with the outer moulding a rich bronze effect and the inner gold. This is the original finish with nice antique patina.
The frame gilt measures 52 cms x 47 cms overall. The aperture is 39 cms x 33.8 cms.
The rebate at the back for the picture is 40.5 cms by 35.5 cms.
