Description
This is an attractive Heriz carpet in lovely condition dating from around 1925.
This has quite a fine weave and a typical tribal design with a warm red field of leaves and palmettes which features animals and flowerhead detail. This is centred by an indigo diamond medallion, framed by spandrels and borders of flowering plants, flanked by multiple guard stripes.
The carpet is in excellent condition ready for use in the home.
It measures 170cm by 123cm.
