Description
This is a handsome antique Kurdish runner carpet dating from around 1920. The carpet has a strong design with five stylised floral lozenges and a good colour palette of warm red, deep indigo, cinnamon borders and highlights in a warm gold shade. This is in good condition with a good even pile, and good ends and selvedges.
The carpet would be a practical and attractive addition to a hallway and it is a great size.
