This is an antique mantel clock dome. An English, glass over ebonised base taxidermy showcase, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.
Fine Victorian example, ideal for displaying an ovoid mantel clock that displays a desirable aged patina and in good antique order. Tall, narrow dome presents a bright appearance. Later suede cushion pad in an attractive crimson hue. Tiered base with ebonised finish and standing upon four bun feet
