Description
18th Century antique marquetry longcase grandfather clock. The marquetry case with a long trunk door containing foliage bird, flowers etc, also contained in the plinth.
The brass arched dial signed in the arch “Sam Smith of Richmond" who was the Son of Sam and found listed as dated 1774. It has a silvered roman numeral chapter ring, weights, winding key and pendulum. It has 8 day striking movement on a bell. It is in good working order.
