Description
The black chinoiserie lacquered longcase Grandfather clock. The case with a long arched trunk door containing figures and gold decorations. Side viewing windows to the pagoda hood.
The brass and silvered dial with a strike and silent leaver in the arch of the dial. It is signed "Matt French of London" who can be found listed as dated 1782. The 8 day striking movement is in good working order. It has weights, winding key and pendulum.
