Antique Miniature Moser Chatelaine Perfume Scent Bottle

This antique miniature Moser chatelaine perfume bottle dates circa 1880 and is of spherical shape with flattened base so it can stand upright without support. This perfume bottle is made of light green glass with hand applied gilt decoration over the shoulders and raised enamel and gilt floral and foliate motif beneath. This antique perfume bottle is fitted with a gilt metal collar and hinged lid. Attached to the collar is the original suspensory chain and ring so that the bottle could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The bottle retains it's original matching green glass inner stopper with gilt painted top. This scent bottle measures a petite 3.5cm in length (excluding the attached chain). It is offered in good condition with no chips, cracks or fractures to the glass body or neck and the inner clear glass stopper is also undamaged. The lid fits firmly and securely and has no dents or dings. There is no wear to the enamel decoration but the gilt metal lid and collar have some age patina.
