Antique Moser Chatelaine Perfume Scent Bottle Enamel & Gilt Cornucopia / Horn Form

On offer is this fine antique Moser chatelaine scent bottle dating circa 1880. This perfume bottle measures 7.5 cm in length. The bottle has a cornucopia form and is made of pale yellow glass with raised enamel and gilt oak leaves. The bottle is fitted with a brass collar and hinged lid which has pretty engraved decoration and also has a brass metal cap at the other end which are joined together by a brass suspensory chain and ring so that the bottle could be suspended from a chain or chatelaine. This antique perfume bottle retains its original clear glass and gilt inner stopper. Offered in very good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass body. The neck of the bottle and the inner stopper are both undamaged. The bottle has very good retained enamel decoration. The lid is a firm and secure fit and is free from dents or dings.
